'Teletubbies' say hello again: Jim Broadbent to join reboot
Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po are back for a "Teletubbies" relaunch and bringing Jim Broadbent along for the ride.
The "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" star will be playing a talking trumpet alongside the four aliens that captured the heart of children in the late '90s.
"'Teletubbies' is truly a British institution and it's very exciting to be involved in bringing this global hit back to our TV screens. I'm really looking forward to working with the Teletubbies and giving them big hugs," Broadbent says in a press statement.
Broadbent will be joined by other iconic Brit actors including Fearne Cotton and "Absolutely Fabulous" star Jane Horrocks, who will be taking on the voice of the Tubby Phone.
The "Teletubbies" reboot will premiere on the BBC owned CBeebies channel later in 2015.
