The X Factor 2014 final 12: XFactor UK finalists favourites
Overs category singer Jay James remains the bookmaker’s biggest loser as he strengthens even further as the favourite to win at 10/3.

In the Boys category, Andrea Faustini has made the massive jump into the 4/1 second favourite following support, having been installed at 10/1 before his bootcamp performance.

The new 8 Piece Boy Band and Paul Akister are both expected to sail through to the live shows at 5/1.

In the Girls, Lauren Platt looks like she will fight off the competition at 9/1 and could be joining Kerrianne Covell and Lola Saunders who are both 8/1 to win. It is a toss-up for the final Boy as support has weakened for both Jake Quickenden, now 16/1, and Jack Walton, who is 20/1.

Only The Young can consider themselves a shoo-in at 14/1 as the rest of the groups find themselves at the lower end of the betting.

Back to the Overs and in with a shot are Ben Haenow, who is as short as 7/1, and 25/1 Helen Fulthorpe.

Aoife Heffron from Boylesports said: “Jay James has such support behind him from day one and it has not let up. He is currently a three figure loser in our books, indicating he has nothing to worry about ahead of Judges Houses.”

She added: “Andrea Fasutini has had a surge of money coming in for him since bootcamp making him the now 4/1 second favourite out doing Paul Akister in the Boys, suggesting we will see him in the live shows maybe sporting that pug jumper again!”
