Christopher Meloni is reportedly considering his next TV role -- and it's about as far removed from "Law & Order: SVU's" Elliot Stabler as you can imagine.
HBO's "True Blood" has targeted Meloni for a key role in Season 5, TVLine reports. It's early days in terms of actually signing him for the part, but the show's producers have him in mind for the role of an "incredibly powerful" vampire.
